International Development Centre Foundation, (IDC Foundation) was established in 1997. It is an autonomous, national level, non-profit and developmental organisation which focuses on community development initiatives to fulfill manifold objectives in the areas of Information Technology, Management Services, Rural Development as well as R & D and Environment related issues. Currently, Shri Paritosh Tyagi ,Former Chairman, Central Pollution Control Board New Delhi, is the Chairman and Managing Trustee of the Foundation. Foundation’s policy is to empower the under-privileged section of the society through education, health and skill-based development.

The sphere of the Foundations activities include issues related to health, education, livelihood and environment. IDC Foundation is a social initiative in the field of planning , management, governance and sustainability. The IDC Foundation is currently engaged in imparting training and consultancy in a number of areas of human endeavors. The Foundation had in the past, organized seve ral national level conferences and workshops on hospital waste management, water quality, air pollution and noise, climate change, energy conservation and information technology. The Foundation aims at developing professional, entrepreneurial and management skills at all levels. For discharging these significantly seminal responsibilities, IDC Foundation has a group of public spirited resource persons and multi-disciplinary experts
